Questions
Geographers find it fascinating to ask me about what it means to be Jewish. Conversely, my Jewish peers frequently inquire about what I study in geography. Having recently begun a teacher training course in secondary school geography, in a city where a Jewish life is less blatant, I realise I have located myself in an environment where I can learn to respond to both these sets of questions.
